Fields Don't Look Back
Here are my different works on the topic of time that goes by and youth. My first 6 minutes-scenario entitled "Fields Don't Look Back" There is no good or bad way of preserving a friendship. With this script I wanted to show how frustrating it can be to abruptly realize that as we grow up, everything seems to shift away from us. Paths become individual. That can be hard to accept when you’ve grown, evolved, and matured alongside certain people. I tried to apply screenwriting principles in order to build an emotionally strong story and create tension. I built each character with a distinct voice and goal. The plot is built inside out, the main character is the beginning of everything. The main conflict is interpersonal. This script is inspired by another work entitled "Les champs ne regardent pas en arrière" Initially written in French, it also deals with the metaphor of the movement.
